We are two starry wanderers,
Two wanderers in rags,
That loved the sadness of our souls
The dreamy yearning, the astral love,
In love with sadness of our souls,
Some dreamy yearning, some astral love.
And we fall for illusion and dream,
Where we drift and wander ceaselessly,
Endlessly riding into the sun,
We see eternity in the blink of an eye,
And through the hardships to the stars
Those roads were crossed and then passed by.
The world from the eyes of a child
Is clouded by what we know now.
A dark, uneven trade for the real world
Lapsing our tender age into delirium,
And we left, we can never go home.
The weight of silence on our feet
Dreaming of distant galaxies,
Life lapsed into temple of thought,
Our life – strange journey of shadow’s call.
Day after day in coloured illusions and dreams
Our heart couldn’t stop but yearning.
In the blink of an eye the suns passed by,
In our eyes the sunlights died,
Our hearts didn’t reach the stars,
Fickle visions of the blue skies
Wandered searching for those stars.
Trapped in the eyes of a stranger
Seeking the eternal, brightest star.
But in those eyes empty and dry,
In their hearts there was no sun.
Our hearts swirling smoke and ash
Burnt till the last drop turned us mad!
I wanted to laud the Lord
And bread and cheer and song,
Did not know why – my heart was
fullI lauded the lifeless days of doom,
And the everberyl dream of mine
Was dead and burried before my eyes.
Great in her glory the everberyl flare
Couldn’t melt the ice of my despair.
The weight of loneliness stood on our feet
No one understood us in this life,
Blind in a world of make-believe,
Their mockery reflected in our eyes.
They laughed and left and then passed by
Bringing no love, no dream, no light.
Sister laughed and dear friend mocked
Turning a blind eye a stranger cursed.
In the shadows only a whore kissed upon the brow
And madman murmured greeting us with awe,
And in parting from you now, never mind,
I shall avow, we left our life behind,
Our days’ve been delirious dream
For dying we will smile at what we see or seem,
As our life was but a dream within a dream.
